19/05/2022

A new international recognition for Bohigas cava.

With 90 points and a silver medal, the International Wine Challenge (IWC) contest awards the Bohigas Brut Nature Gran Reserva cava in its 2022 edition. The tasting carried out in the contest defines the aromas of this cava as follows:

“Creamy palate of lemon curd with fine mousse and refreshing acidity. Elegant, long, balanced.”

This cava has a blend of 50% Xarel lo, 30% Macabeo and 20% Parellada and is aged for more than 30 months (2019 vintage). Its fine bubbles stand out, a quality that the IWC judges have also valued very positively.

In this year's edition, the Brut Reserva cava also stands out with a Bronze medal. And the Bohigas Garnacha Negra wine with a special recommendation.
